WELSH MINERS LAMP - Black Painted Body

   Genuine Miners Lamp. Manufactured in the heart of the South Wales Valleys.

Black upper Body with polished chrome lower half.  Weight 0.75Kg.

The lamp is 23 cm high (not including hook) and 88mm in diameter.

This Model can not be engraved because the black painted surface does not lend itself to this process.

Every Miners lamp has its own individual Serial Number.

It burns lamp oil (kerosene).  This version does not have an adjustable wick, so the wick can only moved up when the lamp is extinguished.

This lamp is hand crafted in the heart of the Welsh coal field by the sons and daughters of miners. It is made of various metals and is primarily designed for use as an ornamental lamp.   It does not contain the filters and seals contained in the genuine underground models. Each lamp comes in an attractive presentation tube with a brief history and instructions for use.
