Every Miners lamp has a Serial Number but as these lamps are manufactured abroad we cannot guarantee that the number is individual.
Lamp can be filled with parafin and lit. This version does not have an adjustable wick, so the wick can only be moved up when the lamp is extinguished.
This lamp looks the same as the lamps that are hand crafted in the heart of the Welsh coal fields. It is made of brass and designed for use as an ornamental lamp only. It does not contain the filters and seals contained in the genuine underground models. Each lamp comes in a presentation tube with a brief history and instructions for use. There is a small space below the Miners Lamps' oval badge where a short message can be engraved. An example of a message engraved in the past, is as follows:
