This taller version has been requested by customers requiring more space for the text. Please draw out the size require (on paper) before you order, to ensure you get exactly what you want.
Our Brass plaques are just under 2 mm in thickness but appear much thicker because of the chamfered edges. If you select drilled holes from the dropdown list below, we will provide screws to fit the holes.
We will adjust the size of the text to suit to amount you have ask for. eg. If you only asked "Bob" to be engraved, the text height could be increased to 15mm. If you asked for 60 characters, the text height would be around 3.5mm.
If you do not require 5 lines engraved, type "Blank" into the appropiate lines below. Text will be centre justified unless you let us know otherwise.
If you would like your engraving filled with paint - Please remember that this will add at least 24hrs to your order, (so that the paint can dry) Also the engraved text is engraved deeper to allow the paint a better purchase on the plaque.
Black has the best contrast againt the the brass surface when it is new and polished, however if the plaques is allowed to naturally tarnish (and darken) the White paint has the best contrast.
| EngraveFast advise that you increase the length of your plaque if you require a large amount of text, this will prevent your text having to be compressed and prevents it getting too close to the any holes. (Note: this is only advice, you will get what you order) |
